It's been a while since I really enjoyed a portion of fish and chips as much as these. We were up for a week staying a 5 minute walk away. The chips are to die for; simply lush. The fish was also excellent with a lovely crisp batter. Also a decent portion that didn't cost an arm and a leg. Will definitely be back before we head home.
Probably the best fish and chips I have had in years. We found this place very recently and keep going back. For fish you have the option of Cod. Haddock or Plaice as well as Scampi, fish fingers and fishcakes. Other items are Holland's Pies, including Steak Pudding. Chicken nuggets, sausage, chicken, beef and veggie burgers. Peas, curry & gravy. You order as you enter and your food is made fresh as you wait. Classic chippy without all the Chinese stuff so common on menus these days. A perfect 5 !
Fabulous fish and chip, the menu was short and sweet. Taste was amazing. Staff were very polite and friendly. Very very good price for the quality of the food. Will definitely be returning.

The best chippy for miles. We have been visiting here for 42 years. We are not locals (except our son in law CC) but have a caravan nearby. Eugene and Sandra and third staff whose name escapes me, are fantastic hosts and treat us like locals. Great menu, served fresh to order and quick service. Highly recommend.
Excellent fish and chips. Everything was cooked fresh when we ordered. Very reasonably priced. Definitely use again.
